This is a wonderful collectible blue green aqua glass insulator. Embossed on the insulator is Hemingway 42 on one side and Made in USA on the other side. The insulator is made of heavy glass in a bell shape with beaded glass trim along the bottom rim.
These glass insulators were used by the railroad to cover electrical connections. This one is from the 1920’s- so over 100 years old! It is in very good condition with just a couple of small chips. This insulator measure 4.25” tall and 3.75” wide and at the base diameter.
